Medical weight loss

Need a medical boost to achieve your weight loss goals? GLP-1 medications have shown success for weight loss in many patients. See our offering of two medication types below.

Our Semaglutide is a compounded medication of GLP-1 and B12. It was initially intended for the treatment of type 2 diabetes (prescribed at different dosages under the brand names Ozempic and Wegovy) and was found to have success in weight loss.

Our Tirzepatide is a compounded medication of GLP-1 and niacinamide. Tirzepatide (prescribed at different dosages under the brand names Monjauro and Zepbound) was initially intended for the treatment of type 2 diabetes but has been shown to successfully promote weight loss in patients.

These GLP-1 medications work by: delaying gastric emptying (which makes you feel full longer), decreasing appetite, blocking cravings, and increasing metabolism.

Semaglutide and Tirzepatide medications are given once weekly as an injection into the subcutaneous fat of the arm, stomach, or thigh. Store this medication in a refrigerator at 36-46° F and away from heat, moisture, and light.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Both compounded Semaglutide and compounded Tirzepatide are medications that can help with weight loss, but they work in slightly different ways.

Compounded Semaglutide is a type of medication that mimics a hormone in your body called GLP-1. This hormone helps regulate your appetite and how your body uses glucose (sugar). By taking compounded Semaglutide, you may feel less hungry and more satisfied after eating, which can lead to weight loss over time.

Tirzepatide works by targeting two different hormone pathways in the body: the GLP-1 pathway (similar to Semaglutide) and the glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) pathway. By activating both pathways, Tirzepatide can help control appetite, reduce food intake, and improve glucose metabolism, which can lead to significant weight loss.

Studies have shown that Tirzepatide can lead to greater weight loss compared to Semaglutide alone, making it an exciting option for people looking to lose weight, especially those at risk for type 2 diabetes.

As with any medication, it's essential to discuss with your healthcare provider to determine if medical weight loss therapies are the right choice for you..
